XAVIER OMäR THE RISK

Xavier Omär's emotive songwriting skills shine through in R&B track 'The Risk' - the last song on his new album Moments Spent Loving You. Xavier isn't afraid to blend his musical influences, which include the eclectic mix of James Blake, Pharrell Williams and The 1975. 'The Risk' showcases the pinnacle of Xavier's soulful vocals which melt like chocolate onto a sweet musical backdrop produced by L.A's Sango. Jazz piano is at the core of this song, accompanied by a simple fluid hip-hop beat. Xavier's vocals are calm, but forlorn in chorus line "Don't break me down just 'cause you can, Don't leave me scarred" - which leave a resonant painful hue. -Ellie Rose-Davies
